What is Hanging Weight?
This is the weight of the animal after initial processing (head, feet, and organs removed) but before final custom butchering. Your final package yield is typically 55-60% of the hanging weight after bone trimming and moisture loss during the traditional 21-day dry-aging process.

The Process

1. Place Deposit: Secure your farm animal allocation with a standard $150 deposit checkout.

2. Custom Cutting Consultation: Within 48 Hours. Our head butcher calls you directly to walk through your personal wrapping and cutting options.

3. Hanging Weight & Final Invoice: 3 Weeks Later. Once processing is complete, the final exact hanging weight is verified, your remaining balance is updated, and payment is cleared via secure e-transfer.

4. Free Local Delivery: 3–4 Week Total Window. We deliver everything frozen straight to your door.

• Free Delivery Zone: Greater Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley. Custom shipping is available across BC; contact us for a direct freight quote.
  
• Packaging Options: Classic wax butcher paper wraps and transparent poly ground blocks come included. Premium Cryovac vacuum-sealing is available for an additional $1 per bag.
  
• Freezer Space Required: You will need approximately 4–5 cubic feet of dedicated chest freezer space to comfortably store a Quarter Share.
